[TRAINING PROGRAM ON “COMMON LAW IN TRANSACTIONS AND DISPUTES AT INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL CENTER” FOR AGRIBANK OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES IN HANOI]

Trong khuôn khổ hợp tác giữa Ngân hàng Nông nghiệp và Phát triển Nông thôn Việt Nam (Agribank) và Đại học Quốc gia TP. Hồ Chí Minh, Viện Nghiên cứu Phát triển Công nghệ Ngân hàng (Viện IBT), Trường Đại học Kinh tế – Luật, ĐHQG-HCM phối hợp với Viện Pháp luật Quốc tế và So sánh, Trường Đại học Kinh tế – Luật, ĐHQG-HCM tổ chức Chương trình tập huấn “Thông luật (Common law) trong giao dịch và tranh chấp tại Trung tâm tài chính quốc tế (IFC)” dành cho cán bộ, nhân viên Agribank. Ngày 15/7/2026, tại Tòa nhà Agribank, Hà Nội, Chương trình tập huấn được tổ chức với sự tham gia của khoảng 20 cán bộ, nhân viên Agribank trong các lĩnh vực pháp chế, tài chính – ngân hàng và các nghiệp vụ có liên quan. Chương trình do Viện Pháp luật Quốc tế và So sánh phụ trách chuyên môn và giảng dạy, với sự tham gia của: TS. Đào Gia Phúc, Viện trưởng, Viện Pháp luật Quốc tế và So sánh, Trường Đại học Kinh tế – Luật, ĐHQG-HCM: Giảng viênThS. Nguyễn Thị Minh Nghĩa, Viện Pháp luật Quốc tế và So sánh, Trường Đại học Kinh tế – Luật, ĐHQG-HCM: Trợ giảng Chương trình tập huấn tập trung vào 02 nhóm nội dung chính: (i) tổng quan về Thông luật (Common Law), sự khác biệt giữa Common Law và Civil Law, án lệ (Judicial Precedent), lẽ công bằng (equity); (ii) khung pháp luật về Trung tâm tài chính quốc tế tại Việt Nam, lựa chọn luật áp dụng và lựa chọn cơ quan giải quyết tranh chấp đối với các giao dịch, tranh chấp phát sinh trong IFC. Thông qua các hoạt động trao đổi, thảo luận nhóm trong xuyên suốt ngày tập huấn, các học viên tiếp cận nội dung về Thông luật và khung pháp luật về Trung tâm tài chính quốc tế tại Việt Nam, phân tích bản án, án lệ và tình huống giả định liên quan. Chương trình góp phần tăng cường kết nối giữa hoạt động đào tạo, nghiên cứu của Trường Đại học Kinh tế – Luật, ĐHQG-HCM với Agribank, đồng thời cung cấp kiến thức về Thông luật và pháp luật về Trung tâm tài chính quốc tế tại Việt Nam cho các cán bộ, nhân viên tại Agribank.——————————–
Within the framework of cooperation between the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) and Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IBT), University of Economics and Law, VNU-HCM, in collaboration with the Institute of International and Comparative Law, University of Economics and Law, VNU-HCM, organized the training program “Common Law in Transactions and Disputes at International Financial Center (IFC)” for Agribank officers and employees. On 15 July 2026, at the Agribank Building in Hanoi, the training program was held with the participation of approximately 20 Agribank officers and employees working in legal affairs, finance and banking, and other related professional areas. The Institute of International and Comparative Law was in charge of the academic content and teaching of the program, with the participation of: Dr. Dao Gia Phuc, Director, Institute of International and Comparative Law, University of Economics and Law, VNU-HCM: Lecturer; Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nghia, LL.M., Institute of International and Comparative Law, University of Economics and Law, VNU-HCM: Teaching Assistant. The training program focused on two main groups of topics: (i) an overview of Common Law, the differences between Common Law and Civil Law, judicial precedent, and equity; and (ii) the legal framework for Viet Nam International Financial Center (VIFC), the choice of applicable law, and the choice of dispute resolution forum for transactions and disputes arising within VIFC. Through exchanges and group discussions conducted throughout the training day, participants gained knowledge of Common Law and the legal framework governing Viet Nam International Financial Center, while also analyzing judgments, judicial precedents, and relevant hypothetical scenarios. The program contributed to strengthening the connection between the training and research activities of the University of Economics and Law, VNU-HCM, and Agribank. It also provided Agribank officers and employees with knowledge of Common Law and the legal framework for the Viet Nam International Financial Center.
