Ngày 09/01/2024, Trường Đại học Kinh tế – Luật đã có dịp được tiếp đón và làm việc với đại diện Bộ Tư Pháp, Bộ Nội Vụ, đại diện phái đoàn EU và Ban thư ký Quỹ EU JULE JIFF tại Việt Nam.

Đại diện Trường Đại học Kinh tế – Luật, PGS. TS Lê Vũ Nam – Phó hiệu trưởng nhà trường, PGS.TS. Đoàn Thị Phương Diệp – Trưởng phòng Thanh tra – Pháp chế, TS Lê Nguyễn Gia Thiện – Phó Trưởng Khoa Luật, TS Đào Gia Phúc – Viện trưởng, Viện Pháp luật Quốc tế và So sánh, ThS. Lợi Minh Thanh – Trưởng phòng Tài chính, ThS. Nguyễn Đình Đức – giảng viên Khoa Luật Kinh tế đã có buổi trao đổi, làm việc với Bộ Tư Pháp, Bộ Nội Vụ, đại diện phái đoàn EU và Ban thư ký Quỹ EU JULE JIFF gồm các đại biểu:

– Bà Đinh Thúy Ngọc – Đại diện phái đoàn Liên minh Châu Âu tại Việt Nam

– Ông Đào Quý Lộc – Đại diện Bộ Tư pháp

– Ông Phạm Quang Tú – Đại diện tổ chức Oxfam tại Việt Nam

– Ông Hoàng Anh Dũng – Cán bộ chương trình Quỹ JIFF

Ngoài ra, buổi làm việc còn có sự tham gia của ThS. Trần Quang Văn (Trưởng nhóm Chuyên gia Nghiên cứu và Khảo sát về Khả năng tiếp cận các quyền liên quan đến Môi trường của người dân thuộc các nhóm yếu thế sống phụ thuộc vào rừng tại TP.HCM)

Trong khuôn khổ buổi làm việc, Đoàn đánh giá đã gặp gỡ và làm việc với Ban Quản lý dự án “Tăng cường năng lực tiếp cận công lý môi trường cho các nhóm đối tượng yếu thế sống phụ thuộc vào rừng trên địa bàn TP.HCM”, đồng thời cập nhật tiến độ thực hiện dự án, đánh giá chất lượng thực hiện dự án, kiểm tra công tác tài chính, kế toán của dự án, bên cạnh đó các bên cũng đã có những trao đổi chuyên sâu về tình hình triển khai dự án, những khó khăn, giải pháp khắc phục cùng những kế hoạch triển khai dự án trong tương lai. Đặc biệt, Trường  Đại học Kinh tế – Luật và Đoàn đánh giá cũng đã lắng nghe chia sẻ của sinh viên đã tham gia chuỗi tập huấn cho học sinh trung học trên địa bàn huyện Cần Giờ.

Buổi làm việc đã kết thúc và đạt được kết quả tốt đẹp. Vào ngày 10/1-11/1, đại diện Bộ Tư Pháp, Bộ Nội Vụ và đại diện phái đoàn EU và Ban thư ký Quỹ EU JULE JIFF có chuyến thăm thực địa tại xã Tam Thôn Hiệp, xã Long Hòa. Dự án “Tăng cường năng lực tiếp cận công lý môi trường cho các nhóm đối tượng yếu thế sống phụ thuộc vào rừng trên địa bàn TP.HCM” dự kiến sẽ kết thúc vào tháng 5/2024.

On January 9, 2024, the University of Economics and Law had the opportunity to host and engage in discussions with representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Home Affairs, delegates of the EU mission, and the Secretariat of the EU JULE JIFF Fund in Vietnam.

Representatives from the University of Economics and Law, including Associate Professor Dr. Le Vu Nam – Vice-Rector of the university, Associate Professor Dr. Doan Thi Phuong Diep – Head of the Inspection and Legal Affairs Department, Dr. Le Nguyen Gia Thien – Deputy Head of the Law Faculty, Dr. Dao Gia Phuc – Director of the Institute of International and Comparative Law, Mr. Loi Minh Thanh – Head of the Finance Department, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Duc – Lecturer of the Faculty of Economic Law, had a discussion and working session with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Home Affairs, representatives from the EU delegation, and the Secretariat of the EU JULE JIFF Fund. The meeting included the following delegates:

• Mr. Jan Lucas Zimmer – Representative of the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam
• Ms. Dinh Thuy Ngoc – Representative of the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam
• Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai – Representative of the Ministry of Home Affairs
• Mr. Dao Quy Loc – Representative of the Ministry of Justice
• Mr. Pham Quang Tu – Representative of Oxfam in Vietnam
• Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hien – Program Manager of the JIFF Fund
• Mr. Hoang Anh Dung – JIFF Fund Program Officer
• Mr. Pham Viet Thang – Financial Officer

Additionally, the working session also welcomed the participation of Mr. Tran Quang Van (Head of the Research and Survey Expert Group on Access to Rights Related to the Environment of People in Vulnerable Forest-dependent Groups in Ho Chi Minh City).

Within the framework of the working session, the assessment delegation met and collaborated with the Project Management Board of the “Strengthening the Capacity to Access Environmental Justice for Vulnerable Groups Living in Forest Dependent Communities in Ho Chi Minh City” They also updated the project progress, assessed the quality of project implementation, examined the project’s financial and accounting activities. In addition, in-depth discussions occurred regarding the project’s deployment status, challenges faced, solutions, and future implementation plans. Particularly, the University of Economics and Law and the assessment delegation actively listened to the insights shared by students who participated in the training series for high school students in the Cần Giờ district.

The working session has concluded with highly satisfactory results. On January 10th-11th, representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the EU delegation, and the Secretariat of the EU JULE JIFF Fund conducted a field visit to Tam Thon Hiep commune and Long Hoa commune. The Project “Strengthening the Capacity to Access Environmental Justice for Vulnerable Groups Living in Forest Dependent Communities in Ho Chi Minh City” is expected to conclude in May 2024
